New english assignment for semester 3

1st:-
Forum. We have to organize a forum in groups of 4-5 people.
The topic would be on environment issues and also education issues.
To be submitted on 25th December 2010. Both hard and soft copies required.
Find 3 articles on the issue from 3 different resources.
The forum must be conducted in our class for 15 minutes ( no less)
DO NOT FORGET TO CITE THE A.P.A. ascitetation (quote)

2nd:-
Select one poem from a well know poet. No primary school poem.
Find the biography of the poet.
Cite from whom.
Look into the theme, message, tone and mood of the poem.
- To be handed together with the forum.

3rd:-
In groups of 4 again, try and find the parts of speech. Each groups find different parts of speech to be presented using powerpoint presentation on the 15th of December 2010. The topics are conjunctions, preposition and interjection. Must add references
